Easter Hols

Over the school Easter break, Wildly Curious will be running four day-long workshop sessions for children aged 8 - 16.

Primitive Projectiles

Spend some time on our archery range in the 700 year old barn trying out recurve bows and shooting arrows. Learn about the evolution of primitive projectiles, then craft your own Dutch arrow to take home. We'll teach you how to throw it too. We might even have time to use some catapaults for target practice. Lunch will be cooked over the fire.

Wednesday 6th April 1000-1600, £43, age 8+

Bushcraft Basics

Learn and practice some of the skills involved in bushcraft and survival - various methods of fire-making, sharp tool use and safety, shelters of different types....

Recycled Stove-Making

In one of our most popular day classes, children will learn how to make a wood stove by re-purposing food cans. Once made, they will learn to process fire wood, light fires safely, and use the stove for a cooking challenge. At the end of the day, they'll bring their stove home. This session includes a campfire lunch, drinks and snacks.
